Thatch?

So after Vilnius and Kaunas we drove out to Nida to spend some time at the beach. Near the house we were in we noticed this house with a thatch roof and thought a picture would be good.

Thatch was very common in Lithuania even 10 years ago, but most of it seems to have been replaced with tin at this point.
